TERMS OF SERVICE

The terms and conditions contained herein shall govern the relationship between the Customer and
Slimming House Beauty (hereinafter ‘the Company’), relating to the service and products provided by
the Company and all relevant aspects that arise during the period of services provided within the
outlets and/or with contract agreement between the Customer and the Company.

OBLIGATIONS 

The Customer shall provide the Company with full cooperation and such information concerning the
Indemnity declaration form, health conditions, allergies and agreed to accept after treatment effect
which may occurred. The customers’ health conditions and all related records and such other
information and cooperation which the Company may deem necessary and may reasonably request,
in order to enable the Company to perform the Services. Critical health information shall be disclosed
voluntarily by Customer and the Company will not be liable for any damages occurring due to such
omissions.
The Customer shall clarify the cause and after effect of treatments as advised and provided by
Slimming House Beauty before proceeding with any treatment.
The Customer shall remove all items and articles of value and of importance during the term of
services and store in areas designated by the Company to avoid any subsequent dispute arising from
the loss or misplacement of such items or articles. The Company shall not be liable for any loss or
misplacement of any such items and articles.

EXCLUSION AND LIMITED LIABILITY

Please note that all meridian and wellness treatment aims to provide improvement to your current
health issue(s), and the outcome of treatment is subjective. Results may vary between individuals.
All products used or to be used in the Company’s services have no known side effects but in the
unlikely event of skin irritation due to your own allergies/sensitive skin, or appearance of redness or
bruises due to the customers’ own physical body constitutions, the Company will not be held
responsible.
The Customer understands that methods of treatment may include, but are not limited to:
acupuncture, moxibustation, cupping, electrical stimulation, Tui-Na (Chinese massage), Chinese
herbal medicine, and nutritional counselling. The Customer understands that the herbs may need to
be prepared and the teas consumed according to the instructions provided orally and in writing. The
herbs may have an unpleasant smell or taste due to their medicinal nature.
The Customer has been informed that cupping and lymphatic drainage is a generally safe method of
treatment, but that it may have some side effects including: bruising, numbness or tingling that may
last a few days and dizziness or fainting. Burns and /or scarring are a potential risk of moxibustation
and cupping, or when treatment involves the use of heat lamps. Bruising is a common side effect of
Cupping and Tui-na. Osteopathy adjustment may cause dizziness or discomfort during the treatments
and immediately after but will subside within a few days.
The customer does not expect the therapist to be able to anticipate and explain all possible risks and
complications of treatment, and customer wish to rely on the therapist to exercise judgment during the
course of treatment which the therapist thinks at the time, based upon the facts then known is in
customer best interest. The customer understands that results may vary between individual.

REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY

The Company is committed to complying with fair trading practices and does not condone any
element or coercion, duress or undue pressure in our customers’ purchase(s) or during treatment.
Please note that if you are not satisfied with the services provided, you may obtain a refund in
accordance with our refund policy and the procedure set out below with valid proof of purchases.
Within 1-30 days from date of payment, a cancellation fee of 30% of the value of any unutilized
treatment session(s) will be imposed for all refund or may exchange unutilized treatment sessions
with products; individually listed prices will be calculated for discontinuation or cancellation of
service/treatment package and any complimentary products/treatments will be charged accordingly
should you have been given additional package price reductions instead of paying the individually
listed prices.
Within 31 days – 6 months from date of payment a cancellation fee of 50% of the value of any
unutilized treatment session(s) will be imposed for all refund or may exchange unutilized treatment
sessions with products; individually listed prices will be calculated for discontinuation or cancellation of
service/treatment package and any complimentary products/treatments will be charged accordingly
should you have been given additional package price reductions instead of paying the individually
listed prices.
6 months from date of payment: strictly non-refundable in cash, may exchange unutilized treatment
sessions with products. Please note that the Company will be entitled to claim a reasonable admin
charge(s) for any refund. The sum will be deducted from the amount refunded.
In the event of a package refund due to relocation or medical conditions (medical proof by
physician/doctor is required), please email your request to slimminghouse.office@gmail.com. You will
be required to furnish any supporting documents for your cause and are subject to the following
conditions:
A nominal cancellation charge of S$50 will be imposed for all refund.
Customer may exchange unutilized treatment sessions with in-house services.
Individually listed prices will be calculated for discontinuation or cancellation of service/treatment
packages and any complimentary products/treatments will be charged accordingly should you have
been given additional package price reductions instead of paying the individually listed prices.
Please note that the Company will be entitled to charge a reasonable bank charges (including cheque
issuance fee) as well as postage fee for any refund. The sum will be deducted from the amount
refunded.

PACKAGE VALIDITY

Packages purchased are valid for 18 months, except for package sessions of more than 10 sessions
and/or package value above SGD2000 to be valid for 24 months from date of purchase. Package
validity period does not apply to package value above $5000.Section 4. Copyright Infringement and Copyright Agent

The Company may, in appropriate circumstances and at its discretion, remove, or disable access to, material on the website that infringes on the rights of others. If you believe that your work has been used on the website in a manner that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide us with a written notice (e-mail is sufficient) that includes the following information: an electronic or physical signature of a person authorised to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed; identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; a description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the website; your address, telephone number, and email address; a statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; a statement by you, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the copyright owner’s behalf. DATA AND INFORMATION SECURITY

All Customers’ particulars obtained are solely for the purposes of completing services. We will seek
consent from Customers should their particulars be used for purposes other than billing.
For package holders in an ongoing relationship with the Company, personal data may be collected
and used for future marketing activities. If you do not wish to receive further marketing and
promotional materials and information from us, you may opt-out by writing in
to slimminghouse.office@gmail.com Your request of withdrawal will take effect within 30 days from
our received date.
Terms & Conditions are subject to changes and Slimming House Beauty reserves the right to change
the T&C without any prior notice.
Please take note that this refund will proceed after we receive your request form. Refund Payment will
be credited into your Bank Account. Clients are requested to provide full bank details for the refund
procedure. This agreement will be used for legal action if we find out clients spread disinformation,
defamatory and slander on any platform.

General

All the Products sold by Slimming House Beauty through this site/catalogue are sold subject to these Terms and Conditions. By submitting your order for processing online, you confirm and affirm that you have read, understood and agree to the Terms and Conditions.

Price

We will make every effort to ensure that the prices, details and sizes of Products detailed by the website are correct but We reserves the right to vary the price and other details of the Products without notice.

Although We takes care in stating product prices, there may be cases where human errors will lead to a misrepresentation, as such, the company reserves the right to charge correct prices. It will also not be held responsible for any mistakes in price or cost representation.

Discrepancies between the on-line bill/order price and the final bill may be due to out-of-stock products, substitutions, special offers, daily price changes and weighed items. The Butcher reserves the right to adjust the final bill after the on-line bill/order price is presented or conveyed to the Customer and such adjustments shall be marked on the final bill presented to the Customer at the time of delivery.

Payment for products ordered through the website can be made by credit card online only

Delivery

Slimming Beauty House will only deliver to mainland Singapore (including Sentosa). For details regarding Placement of Orders for Delivery and Delivery Charges, pm us for the latest information.

Variation/Cancellation of Order

The Customer may vary or cancel the order up to the point in time that We have not commenced processing the order and the Customer will not incur any cost in doing so.

Subject to the Customer’s consent, The Company may substitute a Product for another similar Product if the initial Product ordered by the Customer is unavailable.

If there is no prior consent from the customer for a substitution, no substitution shall be made.

Returns of Products/Refunds

For hygiene/ safety reasons, our products are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

However, if you are not satisfied with your order, we allow for requests to exchange or return products purchased within 7 business days of receiving the product at your delivery address for any of the following reasons:

  • the product delivered is not what you ordered;
  • the product delivered is expired or damaged.

Slimming Beauty House will process your request within 7 business days upon receiving your request. 

Slimming Beauty House reserves the right to deduct the cost of providing any collection service from the refund amount. Amount refunded will also take into consideration the total discounts given to the customer at the point of purchase.

Slimming Beauty House reserves the right to reject any requests for a return or exchange, and reserves the right to not provide a reason for the decision made.

PRIVACY POLICY

We will maintain the privacy of your information using technology and will adhere to policies that prevent unauthorized use of your personal information.

When making enquiries, we may keep your email address for our future reference. When registering as a customer, we keep a copy of your contact and delivery details on our server. When making payment via credit card, we keep a record of its details to process payment.

We compile this information into a statistical aggregate and use this information for internal business and administrative purposes which includes improving our website, our product and service offerings, our operations, and our customer service.
